Dance for MS
Basel is well known for its pharmaceutical companies and since I moved to the city I thought of combining the field of science with performing art, intertwining research and medical experience with the pure emotions of dance. One of the major goals was to create an event to engage the audience in a different way, not leaving them as mere spectators.
"Dance for MS" was born as a fundraising event that took place at the Offene Kirche Elisabethen in Basel on the 8th of February 2018. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis and funds for the Basel-based MS Foundation "Schweizerische Multiple Sklerose Gesellschaft".
Alongside my team, we welcomed 300 spectators and contributed to the highest donation of CHF 12’800 since the start of the Swiss MS Foundation.
